Mattress Recycling

For the Individual

DR3 Recycling offers comprehensive mattress recycling services aimed at promoting environmental sustainability. Mattress recycling is free at most of our collection sites and facilities (excluding our Stockton location).  Please see the list of drop off locations and recycling fees at each site.

Pickup Services

St. Vincent de Paul of Lane County now offers mattress pick up in Eugene and Springfield, Oregon.  

$50 fee for the first two units (2 mattresses OR 1 mattress and 1 box spring)

$25 for each additional unit

Please call 458-254-5550 to schedule a mattress pick up.

Is your mattress recyclable?

  • Make sure your mattress stays dry.  Soggy wet mattresses may not be recycled and cause extra landfill expenses for recyclers.

  • Mattresses heavily soiled by bodily fluids or infested with bedbugs will not be accepted by collection sites or recycling facilities

  • DR3 Recycling and St. Vincent de Paul Society of Lane County reserve the right to refuse mattresses

Mattress Recycling

For Businesses

DR3 Recycling is known for providing excellent customer service and providing mattress and boxspring recycling to solid waste districts, retailers, hotels and motels, universities, military bases, and more.

We can accept delivery of beds using your equipment or place a trailer on your site to collect mattresses and boxsprings. When the trailer is full our staff will pick it up. 

​

Benefits of Recycling with DR3:

  • Save Money - Landfilling mattresses is expensive, recycling is very affordable and may be free depending on the location​

  • Convenience - Bring your mattresses to one of our many collection or recycling locations, or we'll come to you!  We provide home pickup in Eugene and Springfield, OR and can provide collection containers/trailers on site for large volume businesses (fees apply)

  • Eco-friendly - recycling mattresses keeps viable materials out of the waste stream and can help reduce a business' carbon footprint which is good for communities, and for eco-conscious customers

  • bales of clean, post-consumer polyurethane foam

  • mattress quilted coverings

  • cotton

  • steel

  • Pocket coil mattress
