  • Do you pick up old mattresses?
We do not offer a pick-up service. We recommend you call one of the following independent hauling service companies, who bring recyclable mattresses to us:

    • American Hauling
510-220-1358 • Serving Oakland, San Leandro, Alameda, and Berkeley; can pick up in San Francisco and Vallejo for an additional fee.

    • Eco-Haul
800-326-4285 • http://www.ecohaul.com • Serving the San Francisco Bay Area.

  • How does DR3 benefit my community?
In 2010 DR3 diverted over 2,500 tons of material from local landfills. Diverting items from landfills extends the life of those landfills, which means fewer dumps and more open space in California, and helps county governments meet their recycling goals. DR3 also provides good jobs with benefits to local residents.

  • How does mattress recycling work?
At DR3 our mission is to recycle as much as possible. Thatís why we deconstruct mattresses by hand rather than shredding them. To learn more about how mattress recycling works, please visit the About Us page.
